How to apply

We’re here to help qualified/registered nurses and midwives who are working in or who have worked in the areas of Birmingham, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, and Staffordshire by establishing a trust fund and providing money and support for those in distress (this could include the elderly and those with a debilitating sickness). To provide grants for training leading to a post-registered qualification.

  • For general funding, please complete Parts One and Two.
     

  • For education funding, only complete the Education Funding Application.

General Funding

Request for support from our General Fund covers a range of needs. Here are just a few examples of these: Items of Household Furniture, Mobility Aids, Food Vouchers, Arrears.

This list is not exhaustive, each request is considered based on individual need and circumstances.

Education Funding

Requests for support from our Education Fund are for post qualification staff seeking to develop their skills and education for the benefit of the service. Examples of support may include: Contribution to Course Fees, Course Material / Resources, IT Equipment

Grant making policy

The trust invites applications from qualified/registered nurses and midwives in need of assistance, applicants must have worked or are working in Birmingham, Warwickshire, Worcestershire or Staffordshire areas for a period of approximately three years (although this time period is discretionary). All applicated are vetted by the trustees.

There is a tri-annual review of all grants made and members of the visiting panel will regularly contact those who have received grants both to offer help and assess current and future needs.
